Let there be life!

Hi there, everyone, and welcome to "Travels with Myself and Another" - your one-stop shop to keep track of Zarah and I as we head around the world.

This initial post is somewhat lesser than I might have desired. When I first cooked this scheme up, I had grand visions of what it could be: witty quips about our destinations, photos from our going away drinks, that sort of thing. But then I forgot my camera and went through a brief period at home where I was worried about forgetting my phone charger. As a result, my wallet, bag, phone and front door now all have helpful reminders saying, "PHONE CHARGER!!!" stuck to them. So you can see how well all my planning worked out.

But fear not! I'm confident that future entries will offer sizzling wit, dazzling commentary and sparkling conversation. And if Zarah doesn't feel like posting, well then you're just stuck with me and this sort of rambling thing. But there will be pictures (again, courtesy of Zarah).
